How to activate the Fortnite Item Shop Token

Finding Pirate Shop Access and activating it are separate steps. The reported reward gives you a limited period to claim eligible shop offers after activation. This page summarizes coverage; your in-game reward is the final reference.

Before you activate

Check the year printed on the reward, its activation deadline, and the items you actually want from the current shop. Coverage describes one activation in 2026 and a separate one in 2027. Do not assume they can be used consecutively.

Start access inside Fortnite

1. Return to the Fortnite lobby after receiving the reward.
2. Open the Item Shop and look for the Pirate Shop / Plunder the Shop activation option.
3. Read the conditions and choose Activate Now when you want the claiming window to begin.
4. Confirm the active timer and check each item’s final offer before claiming.

Activation dates

The 2026 activation deadline is reported as December 15, 2026. Some coverage transcribes a cutoff of 6 PM GMT−6, equivalent to December 16 at 00:00 UTC. Verify the actual date and time shown on your reward; this site cannot check eligibility or your account.

The separate 2027 activation is reported to become available next year. Read that reward’s own start and expiry dates.

Plan a 14-day window

Choose a date to see when fourteen days would end.

This adds exactly 336 hours. It does not activate a token, check eligibility or replace the in-game timer. Daylight saving time can change the local clock time at the end.

During the claiming window

Reported terms include eligible Item Shop offers priced in V-Bucks, with exclusions for real-money offers, gifting, and pass levels or rewards. The Sidekick allowance is reported as one you do not already own. Access does not deposit V-Bucks into your balance.
